10 years of nothing but PROBIG®!
How it all began…
After completing my tertiary education, I worked for two other companies before I came to – or should I say arrived at – PROBIG® in 2008. Back then our team consisted of but 5 employees in the central office in Timelkam, Upper Austria; despite the fact we were few in number, we were a highly motivated team. My colleague Waltraud Eppinger trained me and so my first tasks were using Office and involved everything from processing orders to generating smaller quotes. Of course, over the years, my scope of functions has grown considerably.
A wide range of tasks
The brilliant thing about my job is the broad spectrum of tasks and functions. There’s no such thing as ‘a typical day in the office’ for me because there’s always so many different things to be done: processing orders, placing orders, marketing, website maintenance, human resource management, organizing transport, and project documentation, to say the least. Moreover, it’s my duty to organize and be present at our exhibition booths both nationally and internationally. And when it comes to being the point of contact for customers, prospective customers, agencies etc., I’m always here and ready to help.
Future prospects PROBIG®
It’s a great feeling working for a company that applies itself actively in protecting our natural resources. Drinking water treatment, the restoration of quality water, efficient waste water treatment plants, and much more are central future topics. PROBIG® puts a large emphasis on these areas and I’m proud to be a part o fit. I also try to live the philosophy of protecting the environment actively as a part of my everyday life.
Highlights and memories
There’s never a boring moment at PROBIG®, whereby the international exhibitions are, of course, a very special highlight. I’ve been organizing our exhibition booths at the IFAT in Munich since 2010 an am always a part of the action there, too. Another unforgettable experience is our company excursion to Amsterdam a few years ago which included three days of team building, sightseeing, and loads of fun. The opening of our new head office in Vöcklamarkt was also a top event for me and remains a highlight for everyone as we were able to be a part of setting up our new offices ourselves.

Seeing as my job requires me to sit most of the time, I enjoy doing sports as a means of balance. I am a member of a tennis club and when I’m not playing tennis, I make the most of our beautiful Salzkammergut region and get out and exercise; hiking and skiing in the mountains and swimming, paddling, etc. in our marvelous lakes are only some of the things I enjoy doing.
Looking forward to 2028: 20 years with PROBIG®?
Yes, in 10 years’ time I will hopefully still be here to celebrate 20 years at PROBIG®. We are a growing company with excellent future perspectives. The constant growth in demand for our products and services shows us that we’ve chosen the right path, and an important one at that.
